长大。

长大好吗？以前我喜欢是成年人的感觉。
长大了，就要明白不是每件事都有理由、都有道理的。
以前每件事都要找理由，可现在发现其实找不到。
好累，停下来，想不通，不想了啦。

小时候，好好。日子平坦可满足。
相信身边所有的人，他们不会骗我的啦。
多年以来都这么过可现在不可以了。

回不到过去了。所以只能珍惜现在所拥有的。
路不可能永远顺利也希望不会永远崎岖。
坚强、勇敢地面对吧！

mid-autumn festival

i always like mid-autumn festival. playing with candles, lanterns, eating mooncakes, zhu long.....

childhood memories.

today at the age of 20, the funness of lighting up lanterns still remains. who say grown up le cannot play with lanterns and candles? i m so glad that ppl are still playing with candles, bringing their kids to playground and light candles...it means ppl still cling on to the traditions...

but of course, there are deviations from traditions: like mooncake flavours now ranging from durian to blueberry to ice-cream mooncake. even for lanterns, also have different patterns....

but most importantly, the tradition of celebrating this special occasion with ur family remains. that's the most cherishable thing.

i love mid-autumn festival because i have happy childhood memories.

bp comical dancers.

thanks muhib for ur support!!!! staying throughout the whole anniversary. i am really touched by ur enthusiasm and support. u really make my day

singing with TengFu...ha,the whole song was quite corny....din really suit for whole anniversary but no choice la. hope my voice din strain the audience ears. luckily i still hear "claps" after we finish the song. thanks teng fu for being such a good sport!

BP anniversary.......finally ended.

all the preparation for dancing, singing, cluedo and planning finally ended on 9sept. it was a tiring day...rather disheartening towards the end.

this yr anniversary seem v qi can cos v little ppl turn up. so i wasn;t v nervous during the performance. but i was still glad that quite a no of mentee from gess turn up....eh i think is after the vp force it to be compulsory ba. but anyway, quite glad liao.

the 8th MC pump it dance was a comical dance ba. i was laughing through out everyth...that i look funny on the video. i still couldnt stop laughing. my 1st hip hop dance on stage. turn up to be funny instead of hippish..haha.

the duet singing with tengfu seem more well prepared for me..though i think i did forget some lyrics... i tot i couldnt hear my voice clearly thr out.hope it sound ok. again my 1st thing singing on stage....did it turn up well?

thanks so much for the effort put in...acting, planning, rehearsal, game master..... but too bad only 2 mentee stay back for our wonderful game. but i still think it end up to be a great success!!i love u guys acting....it;s so pro. i think we mentors r really talented!! thanks for still being so enthu even for the poor response...great job!

it;s nice to indulge i n jazzy music sometimes. just bought this cd from the bazaar yday.. captivated by olivia soothing voice and her catchy and melodious songs... feel so relaxed and occupied with serenity when i hear them. so close- to- my- heart songs.

wasn't too optimistic about mentoring session today but then still have to turn up n appear enthu throughout the 2hrs. luckily everything went quite smoothly. contrary to last week, there were more mentors than mentees. i am so lucky i got willi and vincent as my mentee cos they were really nice students. hardworking, crappy but respectful of me. after doing some questions, we started exchanginng hp themes and browsing thr each other hp....haha. then i realised that willi also like jazz music and one of the songs in olivia album happen to be in his phone.

i think giving puzzles for them to solve was a great idea. at least i no need to make a fool out of myself asking everyone to gather n be enth during games. i was quite happy and encouraged by their attitude towards the puzzle-solving. i tot they would just chuck the puzzle aside and continue with their sch work but i was wrong. some were quite enthu in solving the puzzles, esp the sec 2. though the bday celebration was rather cui but it was finally over soon...haha. i heard most of my voice during the bday song singing.

to all my mentors:

i really thank u guys for all the enthusiasm during each and every sessions. u guys were so helpful and tolerant. so glad so glad.

i realised doing community work doesn't always guarantee instant happiness.sometimes ppl ask me why i join mentoring(they deemed it as a not-fun cca). i really can't say it;s fun, rather now as the coordinator, it was not fun at all. bcos we dun realised that we are actually making small impacts on other ppl life, directly or indirectly. the students definitely wont come straight to the mentors and say "thank you" to us but we may have already make their day by spending some time interacting with them.

my happiest thing today was a mentee writing: "i enjoyed the birthday celebration the most today". worth every of my effort.

woo....long time no blog.

i think my blog realli cui alre. super long time nv update...rotting liao.
sch start n end of week 2 alre. luckily lab havent start for this 2 week so can still slack a bit. but i have been too busy with bp anniversary.

have been enjoying the process of preparation of it la... cluedo game planning is running smoothly cos have the funny gy in it. funny script and acting. and of course not forgetting the PUMP IT! dance we have been practising....wooo.....nv knew i would have a chance to fance hip hoppish on stage...i m trying my best to learn..though i do have difficulty learning the steps and twisting my body as savvy as the other dancers... but i really enjoy dancing with the mentors!

went for my 1st yogapilatez: a lot of stretching...i found how unbending my body is....luckily the instructor fin really pick on us. thats; y laxing for me....feel so much at ease after the 1 hr of stretching. i like the last part where we all lie down on the mat in the dark....very relaxing.
i realised how far it was when i actually did that. every part of my body relaxing...but maybe it's bcos of the fast pace of life, my thoughts just isnt at peace with my body. thoughts racing in my mind........

happy 42th bday, sinagpore!!! national day can never be more "sin ka pore" than spending half of my days at the "so singapore toon" and listening to replays of national day songs.

breaking rules can never be more fun!

my national day today was really very "patriotic" or very singapore. cos i went back to work at discovery centre...the entrance fee today was $4.20 so there was a lot of guests!!! unbelievable. 1st time i saw ppl queing to buy tix. luckily i was stationed at MPH. tending the "so singapore toon". the exhibition was opened only today... the 1st time i stepped in, i was feeling quite cheerful and lively cos it was all very cute cartoon display wall everywhere!!! the cartoon were drawn by famous local cartoonist like miel and fong...most of them were in fact v interesting and funny.

at around 4.45pm, while i was thinking of how to kill my time, after i c all the display...i saw 3 kids hiding at one corner n playing card games. it was a very interesting card game called "sleeping queens". i decided to play with them so i learn the game n managed to keep myself occupied for 30mins before closing... when lizda walked in, i told her i was "entertaining" the kids, but actually i was skiving and keeping myself entertained...haha.

after i closed MPH, i went to be the "farewell team". wa....15min b4 closing still so many guests, esp kids around. one parent came to ask for balloon so me n fahana started making them. before we knew it, all the kids were crowding around us for the balloons...so i only rmb myself making balloons the last 15 mins. haha,,,kids!

i was gald i went back to sdc to work on this national day,despite my tiredness at sentosa yday...maybe it;s bcos it's my last day of work....i feel kinda attached to this place alre... LG,smart station,i-werks,PEG,balloon sculpting,entertaining n smiling to guests,MPH days(racial harmony and so singapore)...marking the end of my days at sdc is also marking the end of my 1st long 3-mths uni vacation.

National day doesnt have to be meaningful only when u watched firework. in fact, any day is meaningful if u could cheer someone up.
